Estudios de ARTES plásticas en el instituto popular de cultura
de la ciudad de Cali (1972). Participa en los cursos de serigrafía y xilografía, dictado por el maestro Lorenzo Homar (Puertorriqueño) y Leonilda Gonzalez en el taller escuela del museo de arte moderno La tertulia, de Cali.
Docente de artes plásticas en el área de dibujo, en el Instituto Popular de Cultura, Cali Colombia. Durante un periodo de 10 años.
En 1982, Viaja a Francia en donde se radica y participa
en cursos de grabado en metal e igualmente en investigaciones
de pintura en los talleres de BELLAS ARTES de Paris Francia.
Durante su periodo de permanencia en Paris, realiza múltiples exposiciones en Europa, obteniendo varios premios y reconocimientos por su desempeño como Artista.
En el año 2000, Viaja a Estados Unidos, donde se radica hasta 2009, desarrollando por medio de la investigación nuevas técnicas en su PINTURA paralelamente realiza exposiciones en varias ciudades norteamericanas.
